 Compucon S.A. understands and respects your concern about the privacy of any information you supply while using SiteCosmos platform. This policy discloses the information practices for member, user and visitor information obtained through the web sites owned and controlled by Compucon within the SiteCosmos platform, whose content can be supplied either by Compucon or by registered SiteCosmos members. All sites within the SiteCosmos platform are hereunder referred to collectively as the "Web Site" or "SiteCosmos Web Site".

Information regarding Members: If you are a registered SiteCosmos member this policy will be applied subject to any particular limitations or choices you made as part of the membership application procedure.

By using the SiteCosmos Web Site and/or registering with SiteCosmos, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

Collection and Use of Information

Compucon collects certain Personal Information from users of the SiteCosmos Web Sites. These may include your name, gender, address, telephone, fax number, Web Site address (URL) and e-mail address. If you wish to purchase any products or services through the SiteCosmos Web Site, Personal Information will also include credit card and / or bank account information. You will always have the right to review and/or change your Personal Information provided to Compucon.

When you are asked to provide Personal Information on a SiteCosmos Web Site, you will be given the opportunity to opt-out of having that information used for purposes not directly related to the Web Site, like promotional uses. Also, if at any time you do not want to receive promotional communications from Compucon, its service providers and/or its business partners, please email Compucon at info@compucon.gr. Compucon will record your opt-out request in our Web database and will neither contact you on any electronic communications campaigns that draw from this system, nor contact you for promotional purposes. Compucon will also request its service providers and business partners to not contact you for promotional purposes using the Personal Information you provided.

However, if you have purchased products or services from Compucon, Compucon and its service providers and agents may still contact you with notifications and information regarding such products or services, as part of the products or services provided or as Compucon deems necessary for your use of the product or service.

Compucon maintains safeguards to protect your Personal Information from unauthorized or inappropriate access. We restrict access to such information about you to those Compucon and business partners’ employees and who need to know the information to respond to your inquiry or request or as otherwise authorized under this Privacy Policy.

However, perfect security on the Internet does not exist, and Compucon does not warrant that the SiteCosmos Web Site is impenetrable or invulnerable to hackers.

How Do We Protect Your Information?

Compucon offers the use of a secure server. The secure server software encrypts the information that you input before it is transmitted to us. In addition, we have strict security procedures covering the storage and disclosure of your information in order to prevent unauthorized access and to comply with the Data Protection Act. This means that sometimes we may ask you for proof of identity before disclosing any personal information to you.

Content of Licensees Web Sites & Public Areas

Certain areas of the SiteCosmos Web Site may contain information posted / supplied by SiteCosmos members, users, visitors or other third parties. These areas may include the web sites created by SiteCosmos members and hosted within the SiteCosmos platform, as well as Discussion Boards, Forums, Blogs, and Live Chat Areas.Compucon is not responsible for materials, comments, advice, information or any other content published and posting made by SiteCosmos members, users, visitors or other third parties in these areas. After receiving knowledge that such a Web Site’s content is offensive or harmful for a person or violates the privacy of a person’s personal information, Compucon reserves the right, but without any obligation, to investigate the incident, to review the alleged contents and to delete or edit them at any time, for any reason or for no reason.The web sites created by SiteCosmos members and hosted within the SiteCosmos platform may collect Personal Information from their visitors. Each Web Site may have its own Privacy Policy to inform the users for the information collection and use practices. Compucon is not responsible for the use of the information collected by members in any of these web sites.

Surveys and Contests

Participation in surveys or contests on the SiteCosmos Web Site is voluntary and the user therefore has a choice whether or not to disclose Personal Information, although we may require your participation as a condition to a trial use of our software. Information requested may include contact information (such as name, e-mail and / or shipping address), and demographic information (such as age, gender, preferences). Contact information will be used to notify the winners and award prizes. Demographic information will be used for the purposes of monitoring or improving the use of the Web site.
